No 761 3/18-35" -- handwritten in lower left-hand corner on recto. "Ruination of House by Land Slide / Dose Terrace / 24 Ave. S. Seattle Wash" -- handwritten in center bottom on recto. "Slide Prevention / (159) View of a home on Dose Terrace seriously damaged by slides which visited the district in 1934. To prevent the occurrence of damage in other districts such as this pictures, the City of Seattle sponsored a project which aimed for prevention in the future." -- on a typewritten note attached to verso.
