State agency legacy books
State agencies faced challenges and opportunities as they managed their way through difficult economic times in the last eight years. Governor Gregoire felt strongly that the leadership experience gained through managing during these difficult times should be documented. She asked agencies to share their stories, challenges and strategies.
The agency books below provide a record for future state agency directors and the public on what steps they took to continue to provide services to the public during a time period likened to the Great Depression.
