Qualification:

Three registered nurses; two advanced registered nurse practitioners; three licensed practical nurses; two public members; and one nonvoting midwife member. Members must have had at least five years experience in their profession and have been engaged in that practice within two years of appointment. Public members may not be a member of any other health care licensing board or have any fiduciary obligation to a facility rendering health services regulated by the commission, or a financial interest in the rendering of such health services. Members may not serve more than two consecutive full terms.
